How daft is it that we don't have a game til the 23rd. What is so difficult about having teams play every Sat at 3pm, with Wed replays at 7:30 pm if the Sat fixture is off for weather or sumpin. I am worried this lapse can mess us up. OK it might resolve injury issues but still a worry IMO.

You can look at it two ways Rio.. On one hand it can severely reduce our chances of getting a result first game back on 23rd as the players will just not be fully match sharp OR you could look at it as a welcome break as we have an entire team of players injured.

Given our injury worries and the fact that we bottomed out on Saturday against Dross County, I am thankful of this wee break tbh..

Can't believe it hasn't been yet when the game is possibly a week or 2 away as I also read it was maybe going to be the midweek before their cup final which is next week.

The only displaced game is the Celtic game from the 14th (this coming weekend is the Scottish Cup) and that's taken time to schedule because if Celtic had beaten Inter, they'd have had no free midweek before the split.

Same as above - they needed to wait and see what happened to Celtic in Europe.

But an added delay might be because Sky or BT want to show it. UEFA forbid live domestic football going up against the Champions' League or Europa League, but Celtic's only free midweeks are on those dates. We could potentially be looking at a 6pm kick off.

23rd-31st March is an international break. While that doesn't take in 1st April, it would be very unusual for a domestic fixture to be scheduled for the day after the break ends.

Would imagine a 6pm kick off would have a massive affect on the attendance in both the home and away ends.

Celtic have another postponed game killie I think which will probably take precedence as it was postponed first. Also if united scrape a draw this weekend then cue fixture chaos with celtic having to play 2 games in one midweek or a game after the split weekend. Surely, though, they could at least try to schedule the games subject to a cup replay. Dont want to tire out the celts to much for their triple header against united.

Their shocking g behaviour at start of the season postponing games for jollys they deserve it.
