First Team

It is the considered opinion of the board that the club is ahead of target in terms of league position and team set up. We have had 24 players released from contract in various forms (natural end, loan end, cancellation of contract) and have brought in 20 (contract and loan) since the end of last season. Those of perceived value to the club are being tied up on longer contracts to protect the clubs position and to ensure highest and best value is received in the event that they move on.

The club continues to build and foster working relationships both at home and abroad to provide the club with the best opportunities in terms of players in and out.

I see 4 players who could get DFC a transfer fee.

P.Mcginn - he still has alot to improve but i see a player in him.

The other 2 will depend but if they take a game then
S.Mcginn - dont think we`ll see the best of him till he gets a pre season under his belt as there was obv in a player in him at somepoint in his career.
T.Konrad - at times ive no seen a centre half make game look easy and when in form he strolls through games, crossed balls and laps in concentration is the 2 things that hamper him imo, i actually think Sweeper would be a better position as aggresion and commading the centre half area really isnt his game, he`s not an ugly fashioned centre half imo.

Players you stated are ones can go for money, decent money at that.

We need to raid the lower league again and get some decent talent at the club to allow us to push onto the next stage.
