We have recently appointed a replacement Head of Community following a departure of the previous post holder. The new guy is very well qualified as he comes from a background of working with the City Council and SFA community football projects. He also has good ties to girls’ football which is a remaining target group for the club having been overlooked for too long.

Only a few of our community programmes were disrupted during the transition to a new Head of Community. These were sympathetically managed and all are back up and running now.

Hey Colin,

Can we get some info on the new 'Head Of Community' please?

Cheers.

I was told yesterday that Dundee FC had ended their association with KIKO.

Club ended their association with KIKO years ago. They have been based at Alder Community centre for about 2 years, or just under 2 years. Scott Gardiner got rid of them.

KIKO is great for the kids, should still be at Dens imo.

Maybe the new guy's better and more suited to the club's aims?

Sounds like a positive appointment and a step in the right direction.

Hopefully the mystery man can uncover another GMS within the Girls football set up and sell her on to Celtic for top dollar..
