Sunday's game will probably be our biggest test so far. Inverness will bring an established promotion hunting Championship side to Dens with Robbogate possibly adding something a bit extra to the tie.

On the team front JMcP is promising a higher tempo than we've witnessed in the last two games. Josh Todd will be back in the squad but Jamie Ness and Andrew Davies will again be missing with ankle and thigh injuries. Ness's rolled ankle looks like keeping him out for two weeks and Davies thigh strain around three.

A draw and a penalty shootout win would be enough to guarantee our progression to the last 16 but a win over 90 minutes would give everyone a huge confidence boost in the lead up to Fridays league opener at Dunfermline.

Adults-£12.

Concessions-£6.

Tickets currently on sale at the club shop. Cash gates will be in operation in both the Main Stand and the Bobby Cox.

2-0 ICT  for me unfortunately. They are a settled championship side and we are rebuilding and struggling for numbers

See where you're coming from Beto. If we keep things tight then I'm confident we can get a positive result. If we lose a daft early goal though, as we've seen in the past, then I think we've no option but to open up and push for an equaliser which could leave us vulnerable to the counter attack. If we play to our defensive strengths then I can't see us losing more than one goal.

Jack the shut out king Hamilton to keep the door shut again. But again we fail to score. So another 0-0 and another penalty bonus point. I’d take it now

Would like to see us try a back 3. Think we have the players for it. With Ness missing Robertson will get another chance to show what he can do. I’d go:

                 Hamilton

    McGhee Forster Meekings

Kerr    Robertson   Byrne    Marshall

                  McGowan

             Nelson  Curran

Gets Curran in the side to do the dirty work for Nelson, allows McGowan to get forward and press high up the pitch and hopefully still allows us to have width with the wing backs.

We played 3 at the back against Blackpool, but had McDaid & Todd as wingbacks. I like the look of your lineup and would be happy if that was fielded.

I'm confident of another clean sheet so 0-0 or 1-0 Dundee. Pens are anyone's guess.

Unfortunately I think you will be spot on with this prediction .

Looking forward to this one to hopefully shut a few of the doom and gloomers up for a couple of days.

Tough game but exactly the sort of game we should be looking to win and will be typical of the games we face this season. Games against Cove etc. are not particularly helpful in gauging how we will do this season.

3 clean sheets in a row would suggest McPake has focussed on organising our defence. Inverness defensively are fairly poor as far as I can tell. We should get chances to score. This is the ideal game to test if our defence and attack are good enough or if better quality in the starting 11 is vital.
