I would just like to say thank-you to Colin and the rest of the BOD for taking time to answer the questions posed by our members during their last board meeting.

Personally, I think it shows how far we have come in the last few months as community, how much our opinions matter to our club and how much we look forward to working together to help the club in the future.

GOt to agree with Mr G.

I'm not of the mindset that we as fans can demand 100% transparancy. However if the club agree to a Q&A I would expect a more detailed answer.

In all honesty I would rather they just said no we aren't doing it than gave out flannel.

There's no doubt we're in a better place and the BOD deserve credit......but lets be honest 'answering the questions' is stretching it.

I well done to Colin but I echo the sentiments of Mr Gandosaur about the board not really answering the questions at all. It's all completely spin.

And they haven't even acknowledged the Lindleys catering question that I would say the majority of us want to know what is happening with the, when their contract is up

Thanks to Colin for taking his own time to put out the doubtless club sanctioned versions of the answers we were looking for.

I'd hate to think he is bearing any brunt of their ineffectiveness to actually tell us anything of worth.

Well done Colin, definite step in the right direction. 

Anybody expecting more detailed answers than that on a public website is being completely unrealistic. If anyone wants more detailed information then I would imagine the DFCSS meetings are the place to get it. That's the proper route for direct access to the BoD.  

Colin has demonstrated a willingness to take questions to the BoD and I would hope that he'd be asking similar questions himself in BoD meetings. If anything is/was amiss,  or of concern, then I'd be expecting the reps to flag this up to the members as a matter of priority,  that's why they were appointed to the BoD.

Yes, out of common courtesy due to the fact that the BOD did take the time to answer the questions posed by this forum, whether or not we like or dislike the answers given.

This is the way I see this as well. A baby step, but a step in the right direction and I appreciate the fact that Colin and the BOD took the time to come to us and ask you guys for your questions.

I am happy to raise questions at every board meeting going forward and replying on this and other forums.

This is something I have been doing since my first board meeting but not putting up on forums, just

replying direct to emails and DFCSS board meeting.

I for one applaud the change and welcome this direction.

I would also like to say a 'Big thanks' for including us, as this shows how far we have come as a community in such short space time and hopefully we can keep the relationship we have going for a long time.
