Would imagine they are extremely busy the day before the first game of the season with season ticket sales, season ticket collections, Ayr game tickets sales, Aberdeen game ticket sales and a new system just been implemented.

No use for you trying to buy over the phone mind you.

I was in about half an hour ago getting my sesson ticket and it wasn't particularly busy, one person in front of us in the queue when we arrived and one person waiting when we left

Has anyone been able to buy a season ticket seat online for the Aberdeen game? Trying to test the system in preparation for the Derby but can't see any way to register it.

I'm unable to go to games for a few weeks yet, and with no ST this season, will be an online match ticket buyer....so it's great to see all you lads doing the 'guinnea pig' system test for the rest of us 👍  :)

I have phoned 12 times this morning and no answer. Don’t see masses of seats gone on online stadium map since this morning. Is there a phone fault? Anyone know?

Same here, was on the phone 4 times before they answered. When they did answer and were asked why nobody was answering was told the queues were out the door. They never sounded too happy when they were questioned why other folk were not brought in to help out considering they knew how it'd be before being palmed off on the phone to somebody within the club who couldn't have been more helpful.

Along with a mate yesterday who has changed his mind due to the ticket system being off, I suspect whatever way the uptake as spun as a good thing they're still losing potential customers.

I've often been in when there were queues, with the phone ringing constantly....usually only 2 people on ticket duty, so it wouldn't be great if they dealt alternately with a face-to-face & a phone customer. A 3rd person for busy times could surely deal just with phone call bookings.

The ticket phone line is part of the club switchboard, and there's no great reason why the phone calls couldn't be diverted to one of the office staff, even a temp, who could have access to the ticket system & deal with the phone bookings, remotely from the shop.

"It isn't rocket science", as the flavour-of-the-month response suggests ;)

Hopefully, all this frustration, at peak ticket demand, will pass into history once we have the super-duper modern credit-card/auto ticketing system installed (& tested, unlike Killie's) in the Noo Campy.  :o

Went via main switchboard and now sorted by helpful lady, just to pick up ticket tomorrow. Got seat I wanted. She did say ticket office had been very busy all day, but still excludes out of towners being served.

In my shop I still answer the phone if I have a customer in front of me and ask them to hold, and we have a call back system. Its not difficult. Apparently fitba fans leave buying till the last minute!
