I thought the fans really got behind the team, especially at the start and once we started pushing them back with 20 to go.

It was unusual to see us win a league game and the fans' reaction probably mirrored that.

Thought the atmosphere and attendance for the first league game of the season was fantastic. Even when we were still trying to push for a goal late in the second half, the fans still stayed with the team throughout and got the goal which we deserved.

There was moaning in Bobby Cox after 3 minutes about back passing.

Unbelievable.

Had that in the Main Stand too. Cheeky bassa behind us, who's just started sitting there and who didn't have a Scooby who any of our players were, tapped my Mrs and young lass on the shoulder after we scored and said they must've brought good luck and asked if they were coming back again!. Both have been ST holders for decades collectively and my young lass has been a regular since she was in nappies. The boy spent the 90 moaning like Fook too.

I think that all we've wanted (other than winning every game, clean sheets, world cup winning players and to scoop up every trophy in the game) is an honest bunch of laddies who give everything they've got for 90+ minutes and clearly care whether they win or not.

To me, yesterday, that was the difference between what we saw on the park and much of what we've been forced to endure for the best part of two and a bit seasons. We weren't brilliant yesterday but the support did respond to the effort, attitude and the just rewards in exactly the way it deserved and long may it continue!

There seems to be a connection between players/coaching staff and fans not seen for a few years....

The team isn’t perfect, but definitely on the right track.

A whole three minutes? That’s a step forward!

Atmosphere was decent on Saturday from the Derry and what a difference Dens is with a decent sized home crowd in it rather than around the 4000 mark.

There were a few grumbles as always, but on the whole, good support as acknowledged by the manager and players.

Hopefully it continues but the home crowd usually drops off a bit numbers wise after the first home league game.

What a cheek.

Although I live on a Scottish island some the locals tell me that I have an East of Scotland accent.

I think that it will take several games before the team start to gel. In the meantime I suggest that the Dundee supporters should not expect miracles.

He did ask if we knew what time Scott Brothers closed right enough.
