The one game at a time approach is  in my opinion  exactly the way to play it.   Take each game as it comes and see what the state of play is, this is a very difficult division and no fixture is a certainty for the 3 points.  For me the key to potentially winning this league is to grind out the 3 points at difficult venues  in Dec,Jan ,Feb time and being consistent at home, in my opinion the games against United ,while they are important  they wont be season defining,  it will be the ability to grind it out over the course of the season at  Alloa, QOS, Thistle, Morton etc  that will be they key to finish in the season top or in the play off places, if we can grind it out then we wont be far away xome the end of the season IMO.

Ross County lost 1 home and 6 away games last season and are generally thought to have won the league easily. They won once, lost twice and drew once in their games with United. The first Derby will not define our season. We must win home games, not have too many draws, and at least match our rivals in the games that matter to win this league.

United lost 4 at home and 5 away - if Shankland get's injured who is going to score their goals?

Just now, Derry Drummer said:

I think McPake thinks the way of every 3 points are important. Everyone wants to win and beat United.

Question, would you rather win the league and lose to United 4 times or beat United 4 times and not win league.

I know what I want.

Fuck, there is always next season for promotion then! 🤣
