Development: Aberdeen Vs. Dundee

The development Dee take on Aberdeen today in the Development League. This fixture will take place at Glebe Park at 18:00 (6pm) today.

The young side have won their last two fixtures and are currently sitting in 9 place (5 places ahead of our tangy neighbours) and have only played 20 games. Should be a pretty tough game as Aberdeen have just moved into pole position after they beat Celtic U20's 3-0 on the 2nd March. Aberdeen have won their last 5 games by at least a 2 goal margin, so this game should test out young defence.

Unfortunately it was like men against boys as Aberdeen were much too big and powerful for our young lads in an easy 3-0 win. The sheep had Langfield in goal, Barry Robson in midfield and Nicky Low on the wing and should really have scored more.

Credit though, to the young Dees for being competitive in the first half. A second goal seconds into the second half killed the game and a few of the lads' heads went down. Not Calvin Colquhoun though, who was immense and gave as good as he got.

Kerr Waddell had to pull out injured in the warm up and we also lost Lee Cameron to injury after only 20 minutes.

Noticed PH at half time speaking to Low and Cammy Smith, who got a hat-trick. Let's hope he was tapping them up!
