The dark blues headed south to Recreation Park to play Alloa in tonight's Ladbrooke's Championship match.

McPake's team remained unchanged from Ayr United win last Friday. The only change was Ness in on the bench for Todd who was injured in that game.

Hemmings opened the scoring on the 15th minute assisted by Declan McDiad. Hemmings made it two in the 39th minute when Hemmings volleyed a Marshal cross into the net.

Mackie comes on as a sub and scores three minutes later and Hemmings has an assist.

Alloa Athletic 0 - 3 Dundee

Another win for the Dee away from home!

Good to see Hemmings get back on the score sheet tonight!

Lots of positives. Back to back wins, convincing performance, Kano, clean sheet and maybe even an established starting eleven?

Did Hazard actually have a save to make tonight? 🤔

As I said on another thread -did we play better or did McPake just pick the correct team.

I think the best team has been picked the last couple of games and we have suddenly started winning.

Its not rocket science

That’ll do me 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

That horror capitulation against Plastic Whistle is even more frustrating now.

We’d have won four games on the bounce and would be sitting joint 2nd.

Onwards to Friday.. 💙

Fantastic result at a very tricky venue....

Friday is now massive, chance again to put a bit of pressure on the teams above before they play on Saturday....

Brilliant tonight though 👍

Local game for me so Home already! Excellent display- thought Dorrans and Nelson were absolutely excellent. Some great passing moves and the Alloa players must hate the thought of having to meeting Dorrans again!

Agreed, still can't get over those last 5 minutes of that game and I still don't get how we lost that game. Maybe it was the kick in the pants that we need because we seem to be the better for it.

However, would have been better if we were second in place though.

Just a pity Herman Munster o’wer the road scored wi that anvil o his.

But let’s not worry, if his heid gets any bigger he’ll be running about like a chicken wi a broken neck.
