TheDarkBlues Posted 29 October 2019 Report Share Posted 29 October 2019 The dark blues headed south to Recreation Park to play Alloa in tonight's Ladbrooke's Championship match. McPake's team remained unchanged from Ayr United win last Friday. The only change was Ness in on the bench for Todd who was injured in that game. Hemmings opened the scoring on the 15th minute assisted by Declan McDiad. Hemmings made it two in the 39th minute when Hemmings volleyed a Marshal cross into the net. Mackie comes on as a sub and scores three minutes later and Hemmings has an assist. Alloa Athletic 0 - 3 Dundee

DFC1974 Posted 29 October 2019 Report Share Posted 29 October 2019 Lots of positives. Back to back wins, convincing performance, Kano, clean sheet and maybe even an established starting eleven?
TheDarkBlues Posted 29 October 2019 Author Report Share Posted 29 October 2019 Did Hazard actually have a save to make tonight?

We're keeping pace with the top 3, still only 1-2 games away from them, and if we can keep this going, while the team develops & becomes a bit more settled, I think we'll be well placed for the 'business end' of the season. Long, long, way to go yet. 8

Bobby123 Posted 29 October 2019 Report Share Posted 29 October 2019 (edited) As I said on another thread -did we play better or did McPake just pick the correct team. I think the best team has been picked the last couple of games and we have suddenly started winning. Its not rocket science Edited 29 October 2019 by Bobby123
