blueboy Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 Sorry, but this is a sickener and whoever is to blame needs booted up and down Dens Road for 90 minutes. There must be a sell on clause, right? Rangers are weighing up a bid for Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson, having earmarked the 20-year-old as a replacement if in-demand Glen Kamara is sold in January. Sebastiano Nela Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 Apparently no sell on clause. We could get rid of him quick enough. mcintyre didnt rate him! Clueless DAB imposter chunt
J_Kitamirike Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 tbh Kamara wanted away and his performances were poor up until his departure. Once his head was turned that was it. I don't think he would have made much difference in our attempt to stay up. We were doomed from the start.

Bobby123 Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 I disagree completely. A 50% performing Kamara was miles ahead of anybody we had-MacIntyre did not have a clue. What is Woods doing now? 1

He's joined Bob Davidson, Jan Zemlik, Nick Ross, Carlo Monti and the rest in outer space. Dundee finished them all off. Manager: Jim McIntyre. Billy Campbell's Ghost Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 If Nelms did not negotiate a sell on fee or at least try then I gotta wonder. It would not be McIntyres decision what the financial terms agreed were.
BCram Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 Maybe maybe a sell on clause is the key. We will never get anything like top dollar for any player we bring on. Get a decent sell on clause we might well make more money if the player makes the big time. We don't appear to have a good reputation for developing players despite working hard with our youngsters. Maybe a change in emphasis towards a sell on clause might be a better approach both in terms of getting good players to come to our club and boosting the transfer income we generate. Cobra Posted 12 November 2019 Report Share Posted 12 November 2019 We were a bit unfortunate not to get a good deal selling Kamara. 1. We sensibly offered him a 2-year deal after the disastrous 3-year deals given to Vincent and Williams. 2. He was quite clearly happy to end his Dens spell after one year given his outstanding first year and all the speculation so there was no chance of him agreeing to an extension. 3. We didn't receive an offer for Kamara in the summer of 2018 so he entered the final year of contract thinking about running down his contract and signing for a bigger club. 4. I suspect the only thing motivating Kamara at the start of 2018/19 was loyalty to McCann. McCann brought him to the club and favoured a passing game. Once the club ditched McCann and brought in an old school Scottish manager looking to win ugly, Kamara was visibly unhappy and DFC were forced to take whatever Rangers might offer in January.

WeighorstsWang Posted 13 November 2019 Report Share Posted 13 November 2019 A terrific player chased out of the club by certain sections of the support (and a large amount of posters on here).

I'm sure Glen when putting in half arsed performances against the likes of Livi in the clubs worst top flight season in its history whilst being tapped up from Gerrard and Rangers wasnt overly giving two hoots what posters on an unofficial fans forum were posting about him. He had a poor final half season for us and wasnt suited to a full blooded relegation battle. He's seemingly done well for Rangers. We move on. Last season was a disaster he was a part of.
