The Dee travelled up north to face Inverness CT today.

Aaron Doran scored for the Caley jags opened the scoring in the 16th minute. The Dark Blues huffed and puffed but could not find an equaliser.

Keyes has to sack Nelms!

This is my thoughts about the slow sideways buildup thing. We saw McCann try this and apart from being 99.99% of the time to our detriment, it is just brutally boring watch. Its inevitable in every ga

That’s the frustration. Home game against Morton and it was dire. Commentators nearly fell asleep and I wasn’t far behind them. 5 guys passing it slowly about in the midfield. I don’t know what they e

Unfortunately we will get nowhere with our current management team and we won't get a better managememt team because of the person who picks them. McCann show all over again.

As predicted during the week, we would be the team that would halt ICT's bad run of form and by god, didn't we just go and do that today.

For a team that has three good strikers, we are giving them fuck all in the final third because our midfield wants to walk the ball into the final third.

Didn’t bother going up, you could have bet your house on us losing up there today.

Don’t care if we played the better football, Inverness took the points and in this league that is all that matters.

Soft touch

56% possession and 1 shot on target kind of sums us up at the moment. We have to change something in the way we play because it happens every week. Another disappointing result, looking forward to hearing the manager telling everyone how good we were and just unlucky😡😡😡🤬🤬

Exactly, really feel sorry for the Keys family

That was disgraceful today. Starting with FOUR central midfield type players, no movement and no flair apart from McDaid.

We were the easiest team to defend against in the first hour or so as Inverness will face this season - easy to push all our similar midfielders deep and eventually they'd make a mistake. Much better when Todd and Johnson come on but we were chasing the game and Inverness do have genuinely have good centre backs who closed the game out well.

I really question my sanity making these journeys. I get we're maybe unlucky at times but just when a bit of optimism was setting up with a decent run, it seems like we're back to the stupid tactics. Compared to a side like Inverness who have no big earners and very little, you could see they were organised and spent the two weeks watching us (i.e. Mackie was very deliberately targeted, almost to the point it was reckless if it was a competent full back who'd have cleared his lines).

The bottom line is that James Mcpake needs to be taken out the firing line....

12 points behind before December is utterly shameful.

Painfully slow midfield will do nothing in this league.

Sub 4000 crowd next week if hes still in the dugout.

Do we have to fall 18 20 22 points behind before Nelms realizes this was a catastrophic mistake.

Marshall "fit and raring to go"" they said!

Cammy, ditched.

Meekings plays against his old club,(did he ask to play and get his wish because it was ICT?). WHY PLAY A 2 WHEN YOU HAVE AN ACE?

WHY DOES JMP NOT PLAY HIS BEST?- NEVER LEARNS!

ON THE POINT OF GIVING UP AFTER 50 ODD YEARS. DFC HAVE BEEN GOING BACKWARDS SINCE GILZEAN AND CO.

Well, Dundee faced Ayr United for the second time in as many Days.
While the previous game was a scrappy affair from both side, this game was not. This game was entertaining and full of an attacking Dundee side which we have not seen for a long time. There was not one Dundee player who let the side down tonight and if this is the things to come, let it continue!
Hemmings opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he was played through with just the keeper to beat.
Dorrans pounced on a mistake seconds from the end, and played a lovely little ball to Crankshaw who made no mistake, and slammed the ball past the keeper to make it 2- 0. Three points thank you very much!
      Full-time: Dundee 2 - 0 Ayr United

The Dee travelled south to Palmerston Park and this weekend championship game against Queen of the South.
The game was a scrappy affair with terrible weather conditions. The Dee had most of the possession but couldn't find the target in the first half. The second have started pretty much the same until Jordan Forster header hit the back of the net.
Queen of the South 0 - 1 Dundee

The Dark Blues first league win of this year against Partick Thistle today.
Hemmings with a Double, first goal scored in the 23rd minute and again in the 34th minute.
Much better performance from the team today and a clean sheet.

The Dark Blues hosted Dunfermline in today's Championship league game.
Dundee opened the scoring courtesy of an own goal by Devine in the 15th min. The cheering hardly had a time to die down when Dow equalised in the 16th minute.
Hemmings made it 2-1 in the 25th minute, and McGowan made it 3-1 on the 34th minute.
Dundee came out the traps in the second half and scored within the first minute of the restart.
Kiltie was sent off in the 62nd minute and then came a few minutes of madness by the Dundee defence. Nesbit scored in the 69th minute and Martin on the 72nd minute.
Dundee looked shaky for the remainder of the second half when they should have been more than comfortable but for some terrible defending.
      Dundee 4 - 3 Dunfermline

The Dark Blues can feel lucky that they came away from this game with a point.
Ex-dee Bobby Linn opened the scoring in the 37th minute when he beat Hamilton from outside the box.
Dundee didn't even huff and puff in this game, but the Dee equalised through Kane Hemmings in the 61st minute, when his header hit the bottom left of Gaston.
      Full-time: Arbroath 1 - 1 Dundee

Dundee beaten at home against Queen of the south.
Dobbie opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a superb goal past Hamiltons righ hand side.
Johnson equalised with a fantastic solo effort in which he left McCrorie no chance to save as it bulleted past him from distance.
Then 31 seconds later, a mistake by Forster gave Dobbie his second and the 3 points for QOS.
      Dundee 1 - 2 QOS
