I didn't realise he was on the box tonight. Really enjoy listening to Hartley. You can imagine he's well respected in the dressing room. Barry had the likeability without the presence. Bomber had the presence without the likeability. Hartley seems to have both.

I await the hand wringing at our boss commenting on another team whilst employed by us. That's what happens isn't it????

The anti-Bomber agenda did get a bit ridiculous. Everything he did was criticised. I'm glad that Hartley gets the leeway that Brown didn't because the constant sniping did my head in.

Tbf the only obe that really got my goat was Rae on Rangers Tv.

In this case I presume Hartley would have been at the game anyway so may as well make a few bob

I think on-rushing to the papers every time the papers needed a Rangers quote was ridiculous and leaving the club mere minutes after a game had finished to rush off to a Rangers function was more than a bit much.

I hated Bomber doing it and I hated Rae rushing off to Rangers TV at every opportunity too. It just felt like we were an afterthought.

With Hartley, it was just being a regular pundit tonight and I've no problem with that. If anything, he's getting paid (Extra) to watch teams that he can prepare for our future meeting with.

I can see where you are coming from Ludo but I've got used to the fact that we're one of the clubs outside the big two that dominate the country. Bomber was a self-proclaimed Rangers man. That didn't bother me as long as he got results. Rae doing a bit of extra work for Rangers TV as a former Rangers player was a non-event for me.

As far as I'm concerned, Dundee being successful is far more important than how our manager behaves before and after games.
