Heard

Mark McGhee!?

😬

Is this from the P&B posts of the last 24 hrs, where he's been linked with G. Strachan ... As they worked together in the past?

Mark McGhee. He really is at the cutting edge of modern football. I suppose him, Nicholl and Strachan could reminisce about football in the 1970s.

Think we might get the ball from back to front quicker under him anyway.

Strachan is lauded for his work with youth development so hard to see where that comes from. McGhee I have no idea but again a fair generalisation.

it’s probably nonsense anyway

McGhee would be a hilariously bad appointment so we can't rule it out. I always remember that time he was sent to the stand after Aberdeen went 7-1 up against Motherwell and the Sheep fans were giving him dog's abuse. I mind thinking "Christ, if Aberdeen fans can't stand the guy, he's never going to be popular anywhere".

I wouldn't go as far as to say I've endorsed each of the last 4 DFC manager's appointments.

But before seeing them in action as they headed towards disaster, for themselves & the Club, I felt comfortable & maybe quietly confident ...And we all see how that panned oot !! However, the thought though, of Mark McGhee would give me a serious dose o' the trembles/fear/panic. But my past predictive record of positivity from each new appointment, means I no longer listen to the voices in meh heid re-managers.

But just looking at Mark Mc Ghee, I feel myself starting to feel unweel :sadno:
