A hell of a lot of people were predicting a defeat this morning. 2nd placed ICT took 3 from them not too long ago. Manager under massive pressure but there's still a very tiny glimmer of hope. At least @Rocky Boy will have a good night. I don’t think it halts the slide Rev, it just slows it down fractionally. Scraping a draw against part-time Arbroath is unacceptable regardless of our form. The fact that people were expecting a defeat doesn’t add merit to a draw, it’s just underlines the level of confidence we have in the manager.
Cobra Posted 7 December 2019 Report Share Posted 7 December 2019 Next four games sees us face in-form Inverness and Dunfermline, a visit to improving Partick and a trip across the street. Does anyone see us winning any of those games? The board might want to put the manager out of his misery.

I thought we’d have no problem making the top 4, if we carry on like this for another few weeks we will need a huge turn around in form just to scrape 4th. We have a better squad than the latter part of last season but our form is nearly as bad against the teams in the league below. 1

gblue Posted 7 December 2019 Report Share Posted 7 December 2019 This is a bad result again how many more poor results do we need before he goes. He has to go not just because of today result but because of all the other poor results and the way we have been playing

Cobra, with exception to McGowan being on the park instead of Todd, not sure we could have had a stronger team on the park, we had both Johnson & Hemmings on the park and yet our attempts on goal were woeful again, consolation !! was that we got fouls into double figures for the first time in a long time that suggest there may have been an effort. Struggling badly to get away from the concern that this team is not responding / playing for McP and his tactics. I agree that we need to end the misery for all concerned. It’s sad to see him fall from grace but the results under his reign have been awful. Has nelms got enough of a clue to end this farce or is he trapped into keeping him? I think we maybe have to accept that McPake doesn't know what he's doing. It's sad because he was a great player for us but he's been given an incredibly difficult job and now that is honeymoon is over and the team is regressing and flirting with being dragged into a relegation battle, you think the board might be wise to make a change before it gets any worse. 2
