I'm undecided how much longer to give him and I'm as pissed off with our current form as anybody else btw. Another disappointing performance and result next week and a derby defeat and I think that should probably be it. Difficult to see him coming back from that but him staying beyond that is maybe more likely than picking up points in these games. Really tough for McPake now but he really shouldn't have been put in this position.

A hell of a lot of people were predicting a defeat this morning. 2nd placed ICT took 3 from them not too long ago. Manager under massive pressure but there's still a very tiny glimmer of hope. At least @Rocky Boy will have a good night. I get that sentiment but when you're a team actively chasing a play off spot, these sorts of runs are season ending If our form doesn't massively pick up, we'll be going into the new year with our first half of the season form putting us in a similar points total to Kernaghans side - that's worrying when this season, there isn't a huge gap points wise. I'm not trying to be dramatic but we've spent good money this season (maybe not as much as United but Dorrans, Byrne and Hemmings are almost as big as any signing we've ever made in the second tier) and aren't miles away from real danger.i don't think it'll come to that but it's worrying.

We were close to being in 7th spot tonight and I think we were lucky that Hemmings (and our only shot on goal) header hit the target. 1 out of 12 points in this league with the players we have is criminal and only one shot on goal against a part-time team tells me that there is something wrong and it needs to be addressed sooner than later. I believed at the time that McPake wasn't the manager we needed regardless of how likeable he is. He should never have been given the job, simple as that.

If we are going to 'spaff' money up against the wall for so called quality players, we might as well tune things down to a part time team who get paid half the wages and we might do better in this league. *That was sarcasm by the way* Spot on, Bobby Linn, yet again emptied my Bins Yesterday, our players are just not giving a sh*t and picking up Wages, for Contributing ZERO, come to Dens Park, its f**cking "BUTLINS"

Would hate for us to sack him after the Derby, I couldn't bare having to put up with the Angus kitting needle mob thinking they got him sacked.

Harold Finch Posted 7 December 2019 Report Share Posted 7 December 2019 We have become a laughing stock on and off the park Playing in a rundown stadium we don't own. Ron Dixon was as close to Ice Rink Dens as we are to Campy Our last three managers have been a Sky pundit, an Arab and an U18s manager United scoring six against us.....then doing it again Not a great time to be a Dee

I suppose a new appointment before the derby gives a chance of 'the bounce' and the possibility of a positive result. Not going to get hung up over that game though.

Is it too late to still hire Glum Jum now?
