The players and management are working hard to turn our fortunes around, it's been reported today that the players have cancelled their Xmas trip to Ireland in order to stay here and train. I don't believe they are as bad as has been made out and I do think they care.

Maybe time to cut the players and management a wee bit of slack?.

If that is the case then there has obviously been "Camp Fire" type meeting between management & players and I hope we see the response that we are all looking for.

A trip sounds ridiculous given their schedule, can they not just have a meal like the rest of us?

Oh so we're dictating how they spend their time off during the festive period now?. We employ them, we don't own them!.

It's possible or maybe the players made the decision all by themselves?. Regardless of how they reached the decision I think this is a positive thing and shows that everyone is pulling in the right direction.

We buy tickets with our own hard earned cash to see them play; they owe us a performance and if they feel that cancelling their trip will help them deliver that performance to us then that's a good thing.

Let's hope harsh words have been had, they've worked hard in training (as they always should), it shows today and that we see enough to convince us that we should get behind them. Otherwise I see another tirade of boos and criticism heading their way.

Don't see that having any positive affect to be honest. Booing has been done to death and opposition players have said it actually benefits them. Don't see it stopping but I just don't get it or the mindset that it encourages individuals to perform to a better standard. Some will be inspired by it but I'd guess that more will down tools or go into their shell.

If cancelling the Xmas trip to Belfast somehow helps the performances on the park then it can only be looked on in a positive light.

But the fans will only turn when we see some sort of hope, fingers crossed it starts today..

No evidence to back this up, but think we will win today, normally this club surprises you when you least expect it...

All the best to everyone connected to the club today.

3 points desperately needed.

I don't boo and agree with you. Unfortunately some of our fans just can't help themselves.
