The Honest Men return to Dens this weekend. Aside from bottom club Alloa, Ayr are the only team yet to take points off the Dee so this could be a good fixture for the Dark Blues given recent struggles at Dens.

Thoughts for the game?

I just can't see Dundee winning after Saturday and would go for some changes after that performance.

Mackie, Hemmings and Johnson out with Byrne, McDaid and Nelson starting - we'd be light up front but in reality it doesn't matter when you can't get the ball up there anyway.

Hemmings out lol he tried his heart out on Saturday and was terrific across the road

Fair enough, all entitled to opinions of course.

How many did he score in those games? Pointless having a striker like him when you just can't feed him with any quality.

I thought he was awful on Saturday and has been since he came back. I've went for Nelson and Johnston, not sure they have been played together yet.

Do you feel Johnson was better than Hemmings on sat and last Fri?

Pretty difficult to pick a balanced 11 with the players at our disposal. You can pretty much guarantee that McGowan will never shirk his responsibilities, even when he's not playing well but where do you play him if you've 2 up front, a left sided midfielder in Mackie or Todd and a right side midfielder in McDaid. We'd need to drop Dorrans or Robertson out of the 11 to accommodate him or play one up top which most don't want.

No I don't, splitting hairs a bit with both. However, Hemmings has had a good run in the team since he came back to the club, Johnston been in and out.

Both were playing on top of each other on Saturday and were far to easy to mark.

I thought Hemmings was good on Saturday in terms of the workrate he put in, I thought Johnson was extremely poor.
