IIRC this lad was the only 1 of my 1975 collection of Football cards to survive!!!!! All my Dundee ones gone but for some reason this one didn't hit the bin!

What a quality no nonsense strip from Dundee FC- Remember it well as a kid.

Will need to get back to Toffs/Dundee to see if they would reconsider making this as I think the badge was the sticking point .

Rab Prentice in what I think was the 1-1 in  the season we and Jambos were down in the Championship in front of 19,000 which was a record until the Huns were relegated. Big Tam Gemmell finally wipes him out!

This game was well before that BCG .  The game you refer to was i think a 2-2 draw with a huge Dee support  and us wearing the classic Admiral kit with the stripes down the shirt and shorts.

As you 19.000 was a record attendance until Rangers went down.

Rangers didn't go down, they were dissolved and a new club formed which had to enter the league at the bottom tier. Therefore Rangers were never relegated but The Rangers were promoted.

We, the sane and relatively normal Scottish football fans must never forget this.

Think we are the last club to be passing comment on the this Prince.

The winger looks class, running with the ball either foot, changing direction on either foot, I would imagine this type of player was commonplace among Scottish teams in the 70s.

I can't remember Dundee FC being dissolved.

Big difference is that we remember those days and accept that they happened, The Rangers fans and the people involved in the club refuse point blank to admit the old club ever went into liquidation and a new club formed. They still genuinely feel hard done by after being admitted to the league ahead of much older clubs at the time.

Wow - what type of sport is that?  A guy running at pace for 60 yards and beating defenders one after the other, maybe we should reintroduce that at Dens this season!
