Had look at the online booking details BCG. Counted the dots in the SE only. Total seats available 1912. Light Blue (bought) 457 Dark Blue Unsold 1455. that would be just under 24% occupancy rate.

don't know if all the light blue dots are infact sold or perhaps unavailable for purchase.

would seem as though the crowd might be low, in which case I'd like to know how much each club gets for a televised game.

Cash only in Coxy and Main. Hopefull cash customers turn up. Motherwell may have bigger support than us!

Can't see many Well supporters coming through either.

Rubbish home team form + utterly stupid kick off time + live TV coverage = most folk biding at home.

Totally understandable-  The Club could have let  us in for a tenner  as a reward for being subjected to the fiascos of the last 2  seasons  and the first segment of this .

My friend and neighbour is a big Well fan and like me he goes pretty much every week- we are going to watch in the pub. Didn’t even contemplate going however if it had been 3pm we would both have definitely attended.

Is this the first ever Scottish Cup tie to be played on a Saturday night? I believe it is

It may well be the first and the last if the anticipated poor attendance is realised.

I don't think that the TV money in the Scottish Cup is pooled as in the Bedfred but I don't know if it is up with the 'recognised' £80k each club used to get for a TV game. Also it would be interesting to know if our BBC Scotland coverage on the specific Scottish channel pays the same as the 'normal' BBC Scotland that is covering the DABs on Sunday afternoon. Personally I think that reducing the entrance to £10/£5 (which would have to be agreed by Motherwell) would likely mean reduced revenue as the extra folk attending, given our form, TV coverage and utterly stupid KO time, would be very very unlikely to make up the shortfall from the price reduction.

I thought it was £15/£10 concession, only just noticed it's £20/£15....not much of a reduction, though it does require Motherwell's approval as well. Not making any difference to me, I wasn't going, but it isn't anything close to an attractive enough reduction, when it's on 'free' tv.

Rangers & Celtic's games are on Premier Sports, so they'll still get income from the hordes who stay at home tonight/tomorrow evening.

I think it was £15 if you bought a while back. Unfortunately we may look a poorly supported side on Sat night. None of our five from Edinburgh are travelling either and watching on tv. Partly due to terrible Dens form and painful watching plus Sat night stupid time.

I thought £15 (Adult) £10 (Concession) £5 (Kids) was reasonable.
