for how out of touch some of the people running our club are...

3 (THREE) home stands opened tonight for 1000 home fans.

Derry all ticket.

Almost makes you lost for words.

Nope.  As I said earlier 'embarrassing'.

Manager out of his depth, start there and the rest will sort itself out eventually. I expect at LEAST 80% of Dees want McPake out, NOTHING will change until he goes. NOTHING.

I take my hat of to the fans who did attend last night, absolute loyal to the core, I also understand that some would have personal things on for a Saturday Night due to the ill timing of this match.

As many have alluded to, a deep dissent within the support to how we are going at this time, last night this was demonstrated to the board "In Front of the Cameras" The club well not feel the financial impact of the low crowd due to TV Money for last night, however they were embarrassed on National TV and it will be interesting to see how they respond.

The best thing that can happen to our club is for J McP to leave and for Mr Dorrans to follow him, our performance has got steadily worse as Mr Dorrans has improved his "match fitness" with exception to the odd flash of his "Too Good for this league Class" he is not contributing to the extent needed. He was not the only failure last night, however when your manager is shaping a team around him and he is not delivering week on week we are not going anywhere.

Our usual performers (Gowser, Kerr, Marshall, McDaid, McGee & Hemmings) stuck their head above the parapet and put in the effort and even our new boy did more in his 25 minutes than a number on the park put together.

I don't believe we need much in the player side to be good enough to get us to P2 in the league, however this will not be achieved with the present manager at the helm who has zero capacity to motivate this squad.

Agree with most of this.

What stood out most to me about the difference between the teams last night, was how much quicker the Motherwell players were compared to us. Especially in midfield.

Dorrans is going nowhere based on that performance. I do believe he was trying, but his influence was negated by 'Well's high pressing. Not near quick enough.

Where McPake is most culpable for this latest shambles, is in the wholesale changes to the midfield. Why were Byrne and Ness brought back for this particular game?  Both were anonymous for different reasons. Byrne hides during games and looks like he doesn't want to be here. Ness, it seems , will never again attain the level of fitness required to play at the level he was once capable of.

Unless we address the lack of pace in our squad, we are destined to remain in the lower leagues.

Ive no doubt he works hard at his job, but i just don't think McPake can be trusted with the continuing management of the footballing side of the business.

He is continually being schooled by Robertson, Neilson and McCall, but learning very little from the experience

This can't go on.

Problem is tho , can Nelms be trusted to find the right replacement.

Imo Nelms appointed JM because he knew that he wouldn’t give him a lot of trouble.

Nelms needs to go as well, unfortunately Keyes wants someone he knows and trusts, we need someone who knows the game in this country, and can relate to the fans, we missed a great opportunity when we relegated the Arabs, but greed got the better of our owners, we should have made it more affordable for the under 18’s and got around schools and clubs, United ar3 benefitting from there free tickets to schools now, we’ve sat back and thought fans will always turn up.

That's just one of his problems, he just loves YES men, who run about him and don't cause any waves

Just makes you wonder what Jim Thompson does to earn his Salary??

Everyone and his Dog, knew that THREE stands weren't required, but everyone at Dens, are sh*t Scared to mention anything Negative to Nelms.

what we should be doing when games like last night are expected to have a low turnout is close the derry and sell tickets for the coxy only atleast make it look like there is a half decent turnout
