Hopefully Dundee back his corner and put in a letter of support of trying to help him rehabilitate and move him to Dundee away from the obvious place all this bother seems to happen.

Probably done or will be done but I doubt will make a difference. Paul is our best player IMO so has to be stood by. But he is a bad apple, a rotten egg, a black banana and looks like a mouldy bread tramp. Just the way he looks he looks evil. He is going down :( Try an oscar toilet door tactic and cry and it might get a few months off.

He maybe has some issues but he is not like a normal bad apple. His faults dont rub off on players, its actually the  opposite, his GREAT attitude rubs off on lads.

He had to plead guilty. If there are no witnesses to back him up the police's word will be accepted and a costly trial would add to his sentence. I thought all along jail was inevitable in the circumstances and that's how it looks after this latest hearing.

United players have actually committed more serious acts of violence (Paton clubbed Zaluska on the back of the head from behind while Goodwillie battered a guy). Problem for McGowan is kicking out at a copper is considered a bigger crime than a vicious street assault against a member of the public.

I hope we stick by him. If a club like Arsenal can help rehabilitate Tony Adams I don't see why Dundee can't do the same, assuming steps are taken to prevent another incident.
