I was on the official site and i was browsing the buy tickets option. There were options to buy for the South Enclosure, Bobby Cox, Main Stand and Lower Stand.

Can anyone enlighten me on what is classed as the Lower stand?

I thought that the "Lower Stand" was the section that was previously the standing area in front of the Main Stand which is normally reserved for staff and players to sit in.

Stand Enclosure seated area I'm guessing.

I'm guessing it's the seated area in the Stand Enclosure,dont think we can sell tickets for the standing area.

We've never sold tickets to the general public for the lower seated stand for a first team game for all the time it's been there as far as I'm aware so would be a strange one.

There's no turnstile entry for a start. Only get to it through the main entrance at reception.

My wife just said she's bought a ticket in the past for this area for a Derby game.

I stand corrected then!

Sat in it for a reserve derby before myself. Get a half decent view down there though a bit low down. Always thought when they put they seats in that they should have had them the length of the stand which would look far better from the Derry side when on TV.

I knew she sometimes sat there before we met but always assumed it was via comps but she said she paid to sit there.

I think they open it up for big games. Extra 200 tickets at £25.

Sat there as a mascot in 2001. Not the best view but at that age I wasn't too bothered as I was so close to the players/dugout!
