He's got a point to prove, let's hope he makes it with Dundee FC. Welcome.

He could prove to be a better signing than Dorrans and Hemmings put together, with his ability to organise and read the game, pushing Dorrans further forward and allowing Byrne to flourish as well, it might well prove to be a massive help to Forster.
if it clicks the flexibility and options could transform the whole team. Dropping down a league should provide a great opportunity for him to show his class.

Never understood the criticism when we were linked with him.

Providing he can still run in short bursts, this could be a great signing at this level.

What concerns me regarding Berra is that (especially at home) we play with the CBs quite high up the park and with lots of possession. Most of their defending/possession is done near the halfway line/middle of our half and we find ourselves turning and chasing a lt when we lose the ball. Supposedly (although I actually haven't seen him play this season, so I'll happily be wrong) his issues have been more in terms of mobility and comfort on the ball, rather than 'defending' as such.

All ifs, buts and maybes and I'll hold on to the hope that he can only be an upgrade on Forster and Meekings on the form they've shown this season. Maybe it'll be a masterstroke. I certainly hope so.
