Former Dee retires aged 40.

His spell at Dens wasn't very memorable but he did score a fine hat-trick in one of the few highlights from last season.

Considering he was 39 and leading the line for the worst Dundee top flight team statistically ever assembled, I thought he did a respectable enough job and gave his all.

8 goals in 21 league starts. Seen and continue to see a lot worse.

I'd say he gave his all although I missed the Hamilton game due to being banned so I didn't even get to see a win last season at home

Ha ha ha was in the Derry was an altercation with the stewards we were playing st mirren dundee equalised my mate jamp on the barrier along with a load of other people but he was singled out as he was with me so I tried to stop them from removing him not my wisest move

The guy has had a fantastic career and wouldn't be surprised if he goes on to forge a good managerial career as well .

I think his goals return was pretty good given how atrocious that team were performing ( particularly once Jimmy Mac took over ).

I always felt he looked a threat when he played and when given the service and he then went on a run of scoring in each match which looked very promising …

I think I'm right in saying that right at that time he was then DROPPED by the manager (may have been Aberdeen away in same match he dropped Kamara for Lewis spence  ?)   because lets face if you have a striker who is on a goal scoring run in consecutive matches the best thing to do is drop him isn't it   .

For me again this only demonstrated that  JMc had absolutely  ZERO idea what he was doing form day one but thats a different story altogether !
