I guess I was the only one who thought Byrne was pretty pish? That's fine, everyone else gets pass marks. Hemmings my MOM, was just unplayable today, Forster, Berra and Meekings very solid at the back. Thought Callachan had a really good game until he had to come off, hope he's okay but it looked bad. Hazard didn't have much to worry about but when he did he controlled the box well. Elliott had some great runs and was solid, McDaid took a while to get going but by the end he was playing good too. Dorrans and Gowser did their usual, which is good. I'll even give Byrne props for getting the ball up the pitch quickly and initiating the 2nd goal. Subs-wise, Fin solidified the midfield imo, while Nelson and Crankshaw didn't get much time to shine but didn't put a foot wrong (well, maybe Nelson could stop with the yellow cards every game).

Pleasingly difficult to choose today.

I voted for Berra. He showed proper leadership today and I think that both Meekings and Forster, who were both really good too, benefitted from having his no nonsense attitude alongside them - and that's coming form someone who thinks that McGhee has been the standout CB up to this point.

I also thought Callachan's energy, bite and ability to link the midfield and frontline was massive today. The lad was great and exactly what we've been missing all season. I hope the injury isn't as bad as feared. Add in a tireless performance and superb strike for the second (feed him and he will score!) from Hemmings, an excellent home debut for Elliott and good displays from Gowser and Byrne and that's the most I've enjoyed a game all season.
