The Dee travel down to face 3rd side Ayr United this weekend.

The last time we faced Ayr was at Somerset Park last October, this game was live on BBC Scotland and the Dark Blues came away with the three points after Declan McDaid and Paul McGowan found the back of the net.

This was the game that Connor Hazrd made his first debut for the Dee.

Ticket Information regarding this game:

The good news is that Kane Hemmings is expected to make a return from injury for this game and will probably be straight back into the first team leading the charge.

So far this season, the Dee have came away with the three points, first time at Dens Park 1 - 0 and 2 -1 at Somerset Park.

We are now on a 4 game unbeaten run, and 3 cleans sheets and only 1 goal against. I think the new system of 3 5 2 seems to work for the Manager, and Berra and Elliot have made a huge difference to the since joining the club in January.

After last night, Ayr are the only team in the league who haven't taken any points off us.

No doubt former Honest Man McDaid will be fired up and looking to make his old team suffer again. His goal at Somerset last time was a beauty.

The Dee haven't conceded in 330 minutes (or 5.5 hours) and the best part is it's not down to poor finishing from the opposition. Last night Meekings showed great anticipation to snuff out danger in our box at one point. It looks like Berra is bringing out the best in his teammates.

Hopefully we can keep this impressive defensive run going at the weekend.
