Just looking at the table there - we have the joint 4th least defeats in the league on 9 along with United.

We also have the most draws in the league.

20 games we haven't lost. 9 we have.

That's pretty decent.

On paper we have had a decent season, however I feel that unless we strengthen our defence, midfield, find a wide man and a target man we will struggle next season in a league that will be stronger.

Actually after today, United will have 10 defeats and us 9 so we have the 4th least defeats in the league on our own.

Only the 2 derby results seperate us as they sit 6 points ahead.

Hopefully this is exactly what PH is planning. Adding 4/5 quality players in those positions with 3/4 leaving and we should be able to hold our own again next season.

It's been a tremendous season overall. Hartley has to take great credit for the total commitment we see from the players.

My one hope is that the manager starts treating derbies as one-off occasions that require added intensity as opposed to being just another three points at stake.
