Struggled with a two or three - Cammy Kerr😲, Anderson might have played with McCann, likewise Shades and Shakey🤔

Yes, there was possibly a slight overlap before JS was transferred to Southampton🤔.

As with others, Jim Duffy & Jocky Scott were at the club so long, they'd rule out so many other players, otherwise they'd always be in a 'team of my life'. I'm sure I've missed a couple of very good players from my years abroad, but these are all guys I saw play for The Dee.

CH was a difficult one, and the best LBs I've seen played with others in my team.

I suspect, though, someone will have seen 2 of these guys in the same team!

Rab Douglas

Eric Schaedler       Colin Hendry       Iain Phillip        Nathan Ralph

Charlie Cooke             Cammy Fraser          Morten Weighorst

Fabian Caballero        Alan Gilzean         Greg Stewart

Would Cammy not have played with Harkins as well?

Very probably . Ah well, back to the drawing board.

Trouble is, all the good players played roughly at the same time - for example, Allan, Robinson, Scott, Duncan and Wallace, or Schaedler, Sinclair and Pirie or Fraser, Stephen, Fergie and  McKimmie, or Duffy, McKinlay,  Brown, Connor and Rafferty, or Harvey, Wright and Coyne, which means that the end result is not reflective of top DFC XI.

Very true mate but I suppose we're all in the same boat with this one. It made me think - a rare occurrence - and I quite enjoyed piecing an 11 together.

I had about 4 different permutations that had to be scrapped before I made one that worked. Defence was a nightmare!

Yeah he come back from Peterhead for that New Year Derby mid-season and then Harkins left in the summer. McCann has also played (and scored within 5 minutes) with Harkins against Raith if we're to be really pedantic!
