troodee1893 Posted 25 May 2020 Report Share Posted 25 May 2020 Shield for me having started watching in the early 60s. Correct me if I'm wrong but was there not some problem with some Heraldry laws saying our shield was not in line with the 'law'. It may be that my recollections are nonsense or did this just die away or get resolved? Anyone know?

It might just have been another load of tripe invented on a slow news day by the press.

Ultimately, Ayr had no choice but to redesign their club crest.

Donny O Posted 26 May 2020 Report Share Posted 26 May 2020 The 70s badge on the shirts is still my fave .Both The "Disc Badge" early 70s and The DFC without the shield onwards but as neither are an option I will sit on the fence ;oD
