I don't get the chance to go and watch the youth guys, but some of the goals we've scored over the last few games have been exceptional. Can anyone who watches these guys regularly tell me if they think we've got a fair few who might be able to make an impact on the first team?

Wighton and cammy kerr need no introduction and are both a safe bet to star for us Imo.

Andy black is probably next in line as an attacking rb. Quick and good on the ball.

Of the younger ones I like the look of keeper gourlay ch waddell and winger avolio.

Would agree with you, Wattie, but think you've missed out Calvin Colquhoun. The guy's been immense lately, scored a wonder goal the other week against Hearts and has already been a first team sub.

He has the build, the strength and the ability to make it.

I mentioned Andy Black in another thread Wattie, was impressed with his composure on the ball against Celtic when he came on. Can he play CM? Looks as though he has the attributes for it.

With two good young RB's ready to make the step up into the first team squad, I really can't see Irvine being kept on. Maybe as LB cover.

I think he can play rm mate although I've only seen him at rb. I suspect you may be right about Irvine. If we have mcginn, meggat, kerr and black for fullback, that might be enough.
