Was reading that German side Mainz had scored a record 27 out 27 in the Bundesliga over the last 7 seasons so thought I'd take a look at Dundee's penalty stats over the last 7 seasons.

2019/20 - 4 taken, 4 scored

2018/19 - 4 taken, 1 scored

2017/18 - 8 taken, 6 scored

2016/17 - 4 taken, 4 scored

2015/16 - 5 taken, 4 scored

2014/15 - 5 taken, 3 scored

2013/14 - 9 taken, 8 scored

According to Transfermrkt we scored 30 out of 39 over the last seven seasons. 77%. Not bad. 

One player stands out when it comes to pens in the last decade and that is Ryan Conroy.

When reading the OP, the first name that came into my head was Ryan Conroy, the second was Matty Lockwood, seem to mind him being great at them then sort of losing his mojo a bit.

Absolutely deadly . What jumps out to me there is that we don’t get many penalties !

Players need to make dangerous runs into the box to get pens! Not pass it about forever a la McCann days.
