I think most Dundonians would acknowledge that Dundee United are the city's second club. I just wonder what Dundee Hibs/United have contributed to the city's big team?

Of course there's one name on everyone's lips.

Dundee 1 Celtic 0 in Sept 1988 at Dens Park. Tommy Coyne scores ...

But have the green and whites, green white and blacks, white and blacks , white black and reds, tangerines had any other positive impact on the city's 19th Century team?

They are a constant reminder, that no matter how bad things may be in life for us Dees, they could always be worse.
