I trust the club are in the process of signing him on a long term contract as he enters the final year of his contract.

It would be folly not to.

I’d hope so otherwise it would be gross negligence of the highest level for those involved in the running and management of the club

To be fair, that isn't far outside their normal decision making.

Kevin Bain captained Scotland to the Under 16s World Cup final so clearly you never know when a teenager is going to make it but Finn looks well-placed to follow Gav Rae to the top.

Really hope to see him grow into a quality player alongside Dorrans this season.

Other eyes will be observing his progress this season, surely we won't make the same old mistake of letting him slip through our fingers for a fraction of his worth. Then again...

I would expect 2 or 3 being worked on now for new deals inc Finn  but nothing will be announced until the current issues re cuts etc are sorted

I find it really unusual that a kid so young and with so much potential is allowed to go into the last year of his contact, I’ve heard no word about extending it or even ongoing discussions.

He must have around 20 first team appearances at the age of 16, last year’s performances alone deserved a new contract as he was keeping out senior players most weeks.

I'm sure it's in the pipeline mate.

Bloody hope so because in January he would be free to talk to other clubs,it would be an absolute disgrace if we didn't keep the best young talent at dens
