First signing of the window is confirmed as 26 year old centre back Lee Ashcroft, on a two year deal.

Ashcroft come through the ranks at Kilmarnock, making his debut at Dens in a 3-2 victory over an already relegated Dundee side in 2013. He remained a squad player for three years and was signed by Dunfermline in 2016, going on to spend four years at the club and being made club captain last summer.

By all accounts Saints were sniffing about him, played regular for Dunfermline....

looks a decent signing on paper.

Hopefully he is on grass too. 😉

Happy enough with this, decent pedigree and a good age, that he was captain should hopefully mean he's got a bit about him too.

Think the "sniffing-bit" by Saints, helped make up his mind to sign for Dundee.

We may not be the best team at the moment and we do have some problems.

But we ken where to draw the line. Welcome to DFC Lee, we'll keep you safe:chaplin:
