Seems we played League games on January 1st and on January 2nd that year. Wonder when that kind of thing stopped. With the dinosaurs mate.

Parcbara Posted 24 July 2020 Report Share Posted 24 July 2020 Not the game after I was born before but I remember (well kind of) seeing Dundee play Motherwell on Christmas day at Dens. Dont think that there has been another set of games on Christmas day.

Neil Cameron Posted 24 July 2020 Report Share Posted 24 July 2020 I was born 1.11.52 East Fife 3 Dundee 2. Cue me bawling and sobbing keeping everyone on Cambridge Royal Infirmary ( my family moved up to Dundee when I was 2 ) on their toes trying to console me. Should have com a week before as we beat Kilmarnock 2-0 in the Scottish League Cup Final.
Markmcdee Posted 25 July 2020 Report Share Posted 25 July 2020 I was born on 22nd February 1949 when football was in black and white. Their next game was a 1-0 win away to Queen of the South on 26th February. Strangely it was the same for my sister, she is my twin after all
