Potential Summer Signings

Just wondering who Hartley might make a move for in the summer. The following are out of contract and could maybe do a job for us.

John McGinn (Left midfield, age 20, St Mirren)
Craig Slater (Central midfield, age 20, Killie)
Richard Brittain (Right midfield, age 31, County)
Alexei Eremenko (Central midfield, age 32, Killie)
Iain Vigurs (Left midfield, age 26, Motherwell)

I'd be delighted if we could get McGinn and Brittain to give us some quality options in wide areas. What do others think? Any other players we could realistically sign who would improve the team?

Edit: Antoine-Curier is also available on a free. Probably not a player we'd consider bringing back but I'd have him in our current team.

Vigurs would be a brilliant signing although he's had a bad season with injury this year though. I'd also like Lyle Taylor and would take Stevie Hammel off of Motherwell if they went down; he's 33 though, so seeing as Hartley is wanting to develop a team it's unlikely he'd go for him.

Confused on how this work mate.

If, he was out of contract, if a team does not pay fees what happens.

What's the procedures for a player whats the protocol for a team.

Is the player just left in Limbo. Can't sign for anyone.

Pages 43-49..

Canna make sense of it myself.

In essence, if there is any disagreement over the fee, the buying team have to pay 50% of their largest offer that was declined from the selling team, the transfer goes through and a tribunal decides on the full and final dev fee.

So a player is tied to a team basically.
