Do We Want United to Win?

Recommended Posts

On Saturday 11th April, Hamilton play Dundee United in their last league game before the split. They will be praying they win this to try and guarentee their top 6 and survival as they are in free fall.

If they win, they may pull away from us. We have United, Celtic and St Johnstone in our final 3 games. Not an easy task. I think we can get 3 points out these 9, that will put us on 44, and into the top 6, 1 ahead of Hamilton. But i cant see us getting 6 points.

Can you?

So do we want United to win?

Of course.

We are less likely to pull ahead of the Filth, so any points they can take from those whom we might overhaul will help us...

And SICKEN their support!

Win-Win!

Yes, its a right hard choice tbh mate.

If we beat them tomorrow to put us ahead of Hamilton then absolutely I want them to beat Hamilton on Saturday. Top six would be a fantastic achievement this season.

We could catch and overtake them after the split :)

Yeah but would they throw the game?

St Johnstone don't hold any fear for me. We have utterly dominated them for 135 of the 180 minutes we have played against them this season.

Thats where I think we will get our best chance of 3 points mate.

If we beat United and St Johnstone it dosent matter.

The Dabs winning can never have a positive spin put on it.

0-0 draw for them against Accies with us beating both Dabs and St Johnstone to secure top 6.

That would work mate.

If we beat Dabs the pressure is on Hamilton.

DD, I see where you are coming from, but in this case, for me, it is a game at a time. Jist let's soart them oot on Wednesday

Regarding them " throwing the game" against Hamilton ......

Aye the recent events have confirmed everything we know aboot them (and maist o' their fans and supporters)

But surely they must try and hing on to some vestige o' pride.

Aye it's only a matter o' time. Nae mair rattlin noises coming fae their empty  piggy banks.

Nae promising stars left on the field :) .....and soon, nae fans :)  ...... and then nae Club :) ........and nae manager or chairman :)

Australia beckons ........ Jist do it :) ......You know it makes sense :)
