Recommended Posts

Irvine, Tank and GGH out. Jazza doubtful..... So.....

Bain

Mc Ginn Jazza/Davo Konrad Dyer

Thommo McAllister

Harris McGinn Stewart

Clarkson

Have Jimmy Mac in ahead of Ferry. Better second half at Inverness with him on the park.

Everything crossed McPake is fit.

Id have Harris in for a bit of pace goin forward, which was missing on Saturday past. Hopefully Stewart is a bit fitter than Inverness aswell, he didnt look totally at it up there.

Mon the Dee.

My team would be:

Bain

McGinn Davidson/McPake Konrad Dyer

Thomson McGowan

McAlister McGinn Stewart

Clarkson

I don't think Ferry has done badly I just think we need McGowan in the middle and we need McAlister's energy. Can always bring on Harris for some width later.

Assuming Saturday's knocks make it McPake, Clarkson and Stewart:

--------------------------Bain-------------------

----McGinn----McPake----Konrad----Dyer

-Stewart-McGowan-Thomson-McAllister-

----------------------McGinn--------------------

----------------------Clarkson-------------------

Stewart to start over on the right to destroy Dixon and McAllister on left to protect Dyer. Also like the idea of keeping Harris on the bench to bring on in the second half to change things a little. Wighton another subby option if we need to go for it late in the game.

If none of them make it and Thomson misses out again (just me being pessimistic):

--------------------------Bain---------------------

----McGinn----Davo----Konrad----Dyer-----

-Harris---McGowan---Ferry---McAllister---

----------------------McGinn---------------------

---------------------Heffernan-------------------

Fair point about having protection there for Dyer.

Was listening to Ryan McGowan on the radio the other week and he came across as a right dirty player. Shortly after that interview he was sent off at Parkhead for a shocker tackle. If he is playing tonight I would keep Stewart on the opposite wing from him because he'll just be out to kick lumps out of Stewart. Also Dixon isn't the best defender in the world so he could get a lot more joy down that wing.

We need to come flying out the traps like we did in the league cup game against them but this time of course make sure we take one or three of our chances. Got a good feeling about tonight!
