Please Read Important: Vpn and Proxy Activy

Sadly, there has been a recent influx of activity via Proxies and VPN's on the forum.

While we understand the need for people's privacy, we have to draw the line at people using Tor, Proxies and VPN's for the sole purpose of malicious use. We will be actively looking at the proxies and VPN's used to access the forum, and if we believe that they are being used to circumvent our security etc, the IP address and the range banned.

If you access the forum with a Proxy/VPN, and there is a 'You are Banned' message, please disable your VPN and try again. Failing that please contact us via our support so we can discuss the issue further.

Sorry can you post this in layman's terms please. Feel like a numpty but being an auld Fecker I'm not overly familiar with the terms used. As you know I've recently had problems logging in so maybe I've unwittingly been breaching the rules.

Basically in a nutshell,  if you use a program or browser extension to change your IP address, so it looks like you are in a different part or location in the world.

For example: something like Hide my Ass or Browsec.

Feel the same way myself but the way I am looking at it is that if you haven't a clue what 'TheDarkBlues' is posting about (i.e. me) then you are not one of the ones that are causing the problem. So long as Sky keeps my internet working so I can get on this forum and the other few sites that interest me that is as far as my internet knowledge goes. VPNs, Dark Webs etc. sail as far over my head as the shots of some of our so called strikers over the past number of years have sailed over the bar!

Isn't it possible for you to identify which members use a VPN through a process of elimination i.e. if my IP address showed me as being in the UK then I'm one of those you are looking at? 

I'm not and I don't, by the way. !

I have used a VPN for many years and so far haven't had a problem logging in. But I'm happy to log out of my VPN if I get blocked. However, it is possble that I won't go in as often if I get blocked a few times. That might be a relief for both of us, of course.

Try Windscribe mate. I use it when away with work to watch uk tv.
