Great respect for Barry Smith from his time with our club, as a player and manager.

(And I find I cannae help following his career)

With no game for us today I kept a wee eye on his game today, Fair chuffed to note, Alloa were holding Rangers, with around 20 mins to go.

Then  turned on BBC Scotland,to find, Rangers just scored = SEEK !

Listened to the commentary, and with 10 mins to go Alloa gets the equalising goal = HAPPY. !!

Final whistle follows around 10 mins + injury time after, Alloa holds on to draw = REALLY HAPPY !!!

Coisty lest slavering and fuming ........ Barry, dignified as always, spoke positively of his team .....preferring not to pass comment on Rangers.

As much as it would be funny to see Rangers fail to come up, i want them back in the league along with Hearts.

He must have first hand knowledge of what has gone down there in the past few years and a good few secrets no doubt. Best keeping him on board. Poor soul obviously hasn't got enough funds to buy the talent to be top of the league.
