The positive is, neither of the gruesome twosome from the land called weegie aren't in with a shout.. I have no issue with the clubs involved..apart from I wish we were one of them.. so, no preferences.. Hope it's a good game and the fans of said clubs enjoy their day in.

if st johnstone win it i'll find it ridiculous that Gerrard got manager of the year...surely davidson with a 5th place finish and 2 cups in his debut season as a manager is more worthy of the award rather than a man who came 1st in a 2 horse race.

I have to confess I sent a text today saying COYS to Mr Davidson. He replied “I’m saving that for future blackmail”. He is a lovely guy but clearly knows feck all about football as he predicted Killie would win 4-2 last night!

i hope saints win and Murray Davidson scores the winner.

I was laughing at the start of the season, thinking St Johnstone had finally made the classic Dundee mistake of appointing a novice to manage a team in the top division.

The fermers are the Leicester of Scotland. They just keep making absurdly good decisions.

Got to say though I don't care who wins. I don't consider St Johnstone a bitter rival even if the media dress our games up as a derby.

And in a country where we've had no non-Old-Firm champion in 35 years it's always great to see someone else lifting silverware. Almost always.

Agree completely, it’s so refreshing to see another piece of silverware going to anyone (well you know who else I exclude) other than those 2. 
 

Actually have a soft spot for both teams, but since my late grandad was a huge saint supporter, I’d love for them to do the double just for him. Just sad he passed before they won their first ever trophy. He did travel to see them in Europe to Monaco in the 90s though!

It's interesting that the fermers hate the Dee and not the dabs. Maybe it's because we're the city's historic club. Maybe it's because of we became champions of Scotland while relegating them.

I think I've only been to McDiarmid twice. One time Gerry Britton scored the most obscene goal on the turn from the edge of the box before Alan Main punched the ball into his own net while being taunted by the away support. The other time was THAT semi. I didn't see McCann's chip because the folk in front of me blocked my view but I certainly knew we'd scored. My god. The place erupted.
