Looking ahead and not getting too carried away, I’d love to see us in 10 years time as an established prem team, installed at Campy Noo and maybe even a cup final along the way.
Short term it’s all about keeping ourselves up by any means and i would be happy with a ‘comfy 10th’ for the next couple of seasons and a slow build over the coming years.
Campy Noo and on-field success go hand in hand but let’s take our time and do it properly with a plan in place. I’m sure JN and TK are already working on their 5 year and 10 year plans and it would be fantastic to see even an edited version of this for the fans.

At the start of COVID, we were looking at potentially years of commercial units, office spaces and hotels becoming worthless. If they were having trouble agreeing a reasonable finance deal before that happened, it's easy to see why we've not heard a peep.

Hopefully they've had dialogue start again since the beginning of the year at least.

Office space may not be required so much now and retail instore is getting a beating from online. Hospitality may be the winner coming out of pandemic as folks relish normality again? Curling rink and cremy are deffo huge demand. Housing in that location I have have no idea but builders are still building.

I don't believe it will ever get off the ground, but if it did, a ten pin bowling alley with amusements, cafe/restaurant and bar in the plans would be a money spinner.

Criminal there hasn't been one in a major city like Dundee for over 15 years and families and young people have to travel to Dunfermline to play.

That leisure park at Dunfermline that the ten pin bowling is in has loads in it that Dundee doesn't have so surely there is potential as taking Edinburgh out the equation, Dunfermline and the immediate surrounding area isn't any more populated than Dundee and our surrounding area.

After Nelms saying St Johnstone are the benchmark, I can definitely see the stadium plans speeding up as this is the only way we can create extra revenue streams, much the same way as St Johnstone do with McDiarmid. No way they will want to continually plug 6 figure gaps year on year indefinitely. For me, the new stadium is central to everything in the long term.

I now JN initially said, that the Campy Project would go ahead, regardless of whether DFC were in the Championship or Premiership (They're appeared to be an unexplained delay at the time & I can only asume, he was thinking, that kind of comment was a statement of reassurance)

I am no meaning/intending, to stir things up, in fact I think there is now a reason to feel a bit more positive.

We need asap to see the health situation & economy get back to normal I would imagine, before further progress can be made. But even so, I think JN (like all of us) has now understood fully, the "feel good" factor in Dundee now achieving promotion. I think he will want to go aead as soon as it is sensible to do so...

If it's feasible sooner rather than later he might want DFC in a stable position in Premiership.

My own main ambition for DFC at this time is to keep the Big Pressure on the "ither lot" :excited:

DFC'S PROMOTION SUCCESS HAS GIVEN THE CLUB A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DO THIS :happyyes:

PLEASE JN & TK, DINNAE LET THIS CHANCE SLIP US BY... Campy Wid Mak Them Seek:chaplin:
