Yeah, draw tomorrow for the league cup and 15th June for league fixtures

We’ll go into this as number 2 seeds again, although Hearts move into the number 1 pot such is the way the SPFL works.

We’ll face one of (seeds):

Livingston
Dundee Utd
Ross County
Hearts

And mostly likely three of (unseeded):

Alloa Athletic
Brechin City
Brora Rangers
Cove Rangers
Cowdenbeath
East Fife
Elgin City
Forfar Athletic
Kelty Hearts
Montrose
Peterhead
Stirling Albion

But don’t be surprised if the SPFL shuffle the unseeded teams in the central belt. Remember we faced Dumbarton one season because of the way the line was drawn.

And the opening fixture is only 6 weeks on Saturday. I can remember when the season including cup final was done and dusted by the end of April and the new season did not begin until into August, twice the length of close season that there is today. Hopefully the Indian variant that is gathering momentum down south doesn't scupper an increase in the paltry crowd maximum agreed so far.

Livingston would do me. Fancy them to struggle next season. Ended very badly once they lost the cup semi and their bubble burst. Want as favorable a draw as possible to try and get a cup run together.

Ross Co., Forfar, Montrose and Brora

Qualifying slightly more difficult this year with only 3 second places getting through.

We should have nothing to fear in that group. We should be aiming to finish above Ross County in the league so this is a good chance to set down an early marker.
