Bit annoyed that the 1893 members get the better opposition. I am an 1893 member, but I signed up for that to help the club whilst I bought my ST for the benefits. Bit of a petty thing to get annoyed about, admittedly.

Good to see the 1893 Foundation members in the ticket balloting for the West Ham game 👍

Loyal season ticket holders should have first refusal on all games. People who have held season tickets for five, ten, fifteen years and who bought them last season knowing they'd likely not get into any games could maybe get a ticket for the Leyton Orient game whilst someone that's stuck a tenner a month the club's way over the last twelve months could get a ticket for the far more attractive West Ham game.

I think that's scandalous.

Its like that most of the Foundation members are season ticket holders too

All about opinions bud, think it's fine to do this for a friendly, I mean not every single member is sticking the tenner minimum in and most are likely to be season ticket holders anyway. Just wish our fans would stop over-analysing or criticising everything the club try to do, it's really not a big deal in this instance.

Agreed. I don’t see why the 1893 Foundation is a factor in the allocation. Season tickets holders are the priority sale that must impact greatly on our annual financial plan for the season. Fans that dig deep season after season (despite regular disappointment!) need the recognition here. While 1893 is a fantastic initiative, it’s an associated income stream for the club - it’s like saying DeeTV subscribers should also be included in ballot.

As PB mentions, it shouldn’t be difficult to trawl a database to identify the loyal customers over last few years. It’s not often the club get a chance to show individual appreciation by means of  recognition & reward, but imo, this would be it.

That would be it, however what they're doing is the opposite.

I'm genuinely disappointed with the club over this decision.
