important Site Update: Friday, 6pm, 9th July 2021

The site will be closed on Friday, 9th July for updates to the forum and website.  This update will start from 6pm, and will last for a minimum of about 4 to 5 hours. This could possibly be longer, depending on whether there are any unforeseen problems or not.

We will try and make the change over as painless as possible. However, there are some changes to the forum in which we have no control over, or could not port over due to the differences in this update of the forum software.

I would have liked to have done this update sooner, but due to the delay's in the forum release and the magnitude of the work required, I had to keep putting things back.

However I will be starting the update at 6pm rather than 10pm and might last through the night!

If you are wondering why I am starting earlier, it's because I actually want to get to my bed before stupid o'clock tomorrow. I'm getting old you know!

Another poor night's sleep saw me out of bed just after 3.00am...So to Forum.

Thought I'd look into the New Updated Site & see what you've been up to John.

It's too early to pass any constructive comments...Some bits appear confusing.

There again that may well be me. Is it still under construction, or now complete?

I will be interested in comments of other knowledgeable (techy-minded) posters.

It does feel different. But at this stage, I'm just chuffed I manage to sign in again.

Later on in the day when DBF becomes more active, I will then have a better idea.
