Dundee FC are delighted to announce that Daryll Meggatt has signed a pre-contract agreement with the club.

Defender Daryll is a player well known to manager Paul Hartley after spending 18 months with him at Alloa.

He started his career with Queen’s Park and played over 60 times for them between 2010 and 2012.

Paul brought him to Alloa in the summer of 2012 and Daryll played a major role as they secured promotion to then stayed in the SPFL Championship.

He has again been a big player for Alloa in the Championship this season, playing 38 times so far in this campaign.

Daryll will join up at Dens for pre-season training in the summer when he will sign a two year deal.
