So in the past 10 or so years that will be Killie, St Johnstone, Dabs, St Mirren, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and (Falkirk or Caley) who have won proper silverware.

Depressing stuff considering we have been languishing away in the 1st Div and recovering from 2 admins and could easily have been claiming a trophy if not for that.

That was fantastic. Delilah's treble dream shattered. Celtic's players hopefully emotionally drained ahead of our game midweek. You would think our players would look at that and think they've got a real chance.

How the hell did the officials miss this?

Atrocious defending from Celtic for the winner. You'd think one of them would have noticed Raven standing completely unmarked to score an open goal.

Hand ball is shocking. Obviously a penalty.

Shame commentators don't be so vocal when it's against Celtic. They are usually like "..it could have been given" "...the ref must not have seen it" etc

Ridiculous that Zaluska got away with clattering that Caley player (although think that extra time). Shocking display overall from the officials.

I noticed that.

Was a stone wall. He never touched ball and took out player.

Couldn't agree more mate..

I've watched Celtic and Rangers being gifted decisions by refs since the eighties so it's pleasing to see it going the other way.

No doubt the stewards enquiry regards the officials performance will last a life time and the ref will be officiating at Kelty Hearts next week.

Celtic have written to the Scottish Football Association about the refereeing of their cup semi final against ICT.

The Parkhead side were angered by referee Steven McLean's failure to award a penalty for handball against Josh Meekings when they led 1-0.

"Given the level of reaction from our supporters and across football, we are duty bound to seek an understanding of what actually happened," the club said.

"We have not been given any other specific explanation so far and this is simply to understand the circumstances of what went on and why such an obvious error was made."

Absolutely pathetic and an embarrassment to football regardless if mistakes were made or not.  Next stop a petition to the European Court of Human Rights.

Particularly like the line about 'reaction...across football' - yes, we are all p1ssing ourselves laughing.

Club motto is correct - 'Always cheated, never defeated'

They could maybe organise some kind of candlelit vigil, that might help.  :P

It doesn't matter which club comes out with this sort of pish, including ours, it just comes across as sour grapes. Mistakes are made by Refs all the time and we all hate it but its not deliberate (apart from Italy of course  ). There's obviously a bit less sympathy for one of the big boys, it's not like it was Celtic's one and only chance for silverware this decade.  :lol2:
