Just a thought here lads because we talk about a lot of our players regularly, and I recognise that we have bigger issues that the 'keeper, but... I don't thing this fella is all that good for tier 1 football.

He is good at taking a high ball and  corners/crosses and being pretty commanding of his area and his kicking is fine I suppose, but he's not going to make saves to gain us points, is he?

It takes him an age to get down for any shots below his waist. Like he moves glacially. So even though he isn't necessarily making 'howlers' I'm just not seeing it, and frankly we need a 'keeper that can bail us out of the muck now and again and he isn't it, imo. I'd like to see what the other guy offers.

No disrepect to Adam as he seems like a good guy, but we need to shuffle this deck of cards sharpish.

Was good last year, but he replaced one of the worst goalies goalies ever seen at Dens. He is an average keeper, who does as expected, no more, no less.

He was good last year in the Champ, and he was being compared to the guy he replaced, but I just don't think he's going to save or gain us points, and I think he's going to actually cost us points like the United game. A keeper at this level should be saving that shot at Tannadump.

I know that he's not the biggest problem that we have, however I don't think he's helping all that much, and we do have another option. Hopefully if we could score a few ourselves that may help him feel more relaxed a little bit, but I'm concerned.

I think he's a decent goalkeeper, does the basics well and takes the pressure off the defence at set pieces when he catches the ball, maybe he needs a few flashy for the camera type saves.

Agree with you that there's times he looks slow, but I have more confidence in him than I ever did in Hamilton, Hazard, Dieng, Parrish.

I completely agree, but as you say, there are more important issues at hand. 

I do think that a lot of fans are a tad hyper at times, he was praised far too much last season for simply being decent. Just as Sweeney was the new stalwart that we needed because he had a decent performance against a poor Rangers.

I have faith in Legzdins but accept thats he not the type to bail teams out. We shouldn't need a keeper that bails the team out though. That suggests much, much bigger problems.

He's fine for what we are (or will be aiming to be at this rate) a lower league top flight team.

He would be fine with a premier league defence in front of him but is no world beater.

I think given what we are makes it more important that we have a keeper capable of stealing points. I do agree that we have much bigger problems, but I'd like to see us with a goalie capable of saving us a point or three now and again.

It's so easy to point the finger at the keeper but let's be honest here the best keeper in the world would struggle with some of the basic mistakes our defence constantly make

Of course the keeper is always in the hot seat, it's the nature of the position. But frankly I don't think he's that great and if I'm being completely honest is probably the worst goalie in the top flight. 

He's not going to dig us out when we need him to save our bacon and frankly he get's down so slowly that I think he could be doing better with a couple of the goals we've given up this season and that has cost us points. Is he our top problem, nope, but I'm not sure we should ignore that it's another concern.

Like I said maybe if we could start scoring more regularly when Charlie comes back the he won't feel like he probably does now, and that's pretty nervous. I'd like to see improvement.

Exactly that … We Will be a Doonstairs Loo team again.

Not because Our Keeper could be better - but Factually because Our players and Management are Inferior.
