I take it this lad can play for us after the last round of League 1 games?

If so get him in ahead of Dyer who is brutal. Turning his back on the ball yesterday cost the second goal, nothing short of embarrassing for a pro footballer to turn his back on the ball

Good point, Cammy seriously can't be any worse than what we saw yesterday. He's got to be worth a go.

I get the point that Dyer may well have been told not to venture into the opposition's half yesterday, but whatever his instructions, he was found wanting.

Agree that he'd be a better option than Dyer and would happily have him in but don't think we're allowed to register him at this stage of the season.

Think that no player can be registered (or in our case re-registered) after a certain date (which I think is sometime this month and we've passed it). Don't know if it being a loan adds some sort of exemption to that.

But surely if his loan ends he automatically reverts back to his parent club where he was registered at the start of the season?

Cammy thinks he will be on loan again next season.

He is perfect back up for McGinn and would be pushing him for his position, if he thinks he is going on loan then Hartley must have other signings lined up.

Possibly. Just realised that I was thinking of the John Gibson scenario (when we were in admin and recalled him and the league started being dicks about it) where we needed to reregister him but that was a bit different as his loan was out of the country. I do think though that the league don't like teams altering their squad at this point in the season so my instinct says that it won't happen but can't be certain.

Had a look at the registration procedures but none the wiser.

It's frustrating watching him in front of us on the main stand side.  His positional sense is so poor at times you can't take your eyes off him as he wanders and gets dragged out of position.  One of a few serial ball watchers we have had in recent years.  Take your eyes off him for a few seconds and then look back and you think 'how the feck did you end up there?'

I honestly think, he can't be any worse than McGinn, who has been VERY poor now, for the last few months.

Give him a chance and we soon find out.
